What is CrossFit?

Let's break it down

CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity.  Every day we do a WOD or Workout of the Day. These WODs are timed and tracked so we can gauge our progress. CrossFit is measurable, observable and repeatable so we can get a real measurement of our fitness. We work out in a group for fun, community, and competition. An experienced coach is always there to improve your movement and help you reach your goals.

Functional movements are movements based on real-world biomechanics. They usually involve complex, multi-joint movements that use our body’s main musculature.

Performed at high intensity: You’re going to sweat! Since most of our WODs are timed, the goal is to finish them as efficiently and quickly as possible while maintaining proper technique and form.

Constantly varied:  While we focus on functional movement and disciplines of weightlifting, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning, the combinations of our WODs are endless. We periodically retest workouts to get a true assessment of our fitness and progress.
