It's time to revisit an old favorite and push our limits tomorrow with a classic CrossFit benchmark workout: "Cindy"! 🔥

What's "Cindy," you ask? 🤔

AMRAPx20min:
🔹 5 pull-ups
🔹 10 push-ups
🔹 15 air squats
You perform as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes. 🔄 Simple, yet incredibly effective!

Cindy is an excellent test of overall fitness and endurance, enhancing upper-body strength, core stability, and lower-body endurance. Plus, it's adaptable for all fitness levels, making it accessible to everyone. You can find the scaled version in your SugarWOD app. 💯

Push-ups are one of the most common exercises we s

Push-ups are one of the most common exercises we see our members choose as one of their initial fitness goals. Why? 🤔 Because they’re performed using your own body weight, making them very achievable. Additionally, this functional movement is excellent for upper body strengthening.

To get started, ensure you can hold a strong plank position, which is the starting point for a push-up:

✋🏼 hands slightly outside shoulder-width
🦶🏼feet hip-width apart
📉 shoulders, hips, and ankles aligned
😬 maintain tension in your core and legs

The goal for any push-up variation remains the same 👉🏼 move your body in unison until your chest touches the target/floor while maintaining tension throughout the entire movement.

Experiment with these different scaling options to gradually build strength and work your way up to performing a standard push-up. 🤩

🏋️‍♂️ TEAM WORKOUT CHALLENGE - 11 AM
Join our epic HYROX-inspired workout. Form a team of 5 people and together, you'll dive into an epic workout featuring movements you already know from the classes. During certain sections, you'll work together as a team, and during others, you'll split the work among your team members, just like in our Saturday partner workouts. No matter your fitness level, this is your chance to shine. Remember to jot down your name in the document shared in the FB event to secure your spot!

🍔 BBQ & DRINKS - 1:30 PM
Good food, great company – perfect combo! We'll fire up the grill to provide some food and drinks. Bring snacks, bring friends, let's refuel, and have a blast!

Is your grip limiting you? Choose one of these exercises and spend as little as 3 min working on your grip a few times a week. You will feel the difference! 💥

Start with short intervals of 10-20sec followed by a short break for 3-6 sets in total. The goal is to progressively increase the hold time. Once you can hit at least 90sec unbroken you can progress up in weight. Go as heavy as possible!

We are excited to introduce you to the newest addition to our coaching team, Daniel Vecka! 🙋🏼‍♂️

Daniel is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and currently also coaches in Karlovy Vary. You can now regularly enjoy his classes on Friday noon, evening and on Saturday! Here’s what he wants you to know about him:

“I played ice hockey for about 15 years as a goalie. 🏒🥅 After finishing my hockey career, I was looking for something new and that’s when I found CrossFit. It immediately became a part of my daily life. This is also why I didn’t hesitate to take on the opportunity to do my CF-L1 when it presented itself to me earlier this year.”
